It’s been 4 years today since our official launch of Keysearch back in 2016. What a crazy ride it’s been. Each year has seen tremendous user growth, about an average of over 30% growth per year. Currently, we have just over 5000 daily active users, which to be honest, was way above our wildest dreams when we started the tool.
We can’t thank everyone enough who has helped spread the word and recommended it to friends and peers. All of the SEO and marketing tricks can’t hold a candle to good word of mouth promotion. We feel that it’s been you guys and the word of mouth that has definitely been the key to our growing success.
Since it’s an anniversary of sorts for us I figured I’d give you a quick update as to where we are currently.
The past few years we’ve released a lot of new features. Some of the highlights like our Explorer tool, traffic analysis, and Content assistant to name a few. We wanted to get out as many great features as quickly as possible and put those tools in your hands.
Due to our rapid growth, we’ve decided to take the last few months and sure up some of our infrastructure. We maintain dozens of servers and millions of lines of code that have all piled up on top of each other to keep up with growth and new features. We decided it was time to start going over things with a fine-tooth comb to make sure we are in a solid place to continue adding new features and new users.
2020 our goal is to continue tightening those things up. In addition to that, we have some pretty cool new features that are currently in the works and a few of them should be released sometime this year. We also are investing a lot of resources this year into our data so that we can offer more and better insights.
All in all, we want to thank everyone for being a part of the Keysearch family. We have plenty in store for you guys and we will continue trying to make the best SEO tool we can. Let’s hope it’s another great year!
